Lift & Latch® Technology features a notch in the disposal body that aligns with a tab on the lower mounting ring, holding the disposal in place, so that it can be lifted and attached on the mounting ramp with two hands. Once properly attached, the disposal will rotate freely to align with plumbing.

Our new Lift & Latch disposers have a stationary ring with a small notch to make installation easier. This small adjustment allows you to simply lift the disposer and make a slight turn to have the tabs latch over the ridges on the slide-up ramps, instead of continually turning until the tabs lock.
