One thing’s for certain, an InSinkErator Instant Hot Water Tap is the perfect temperature for tea. Our instant hot water tank (NeoTank Edition) heats water in-tank up to 99°C. Our tanks have an adjustable dial so that you can set the temperature of the water to your preference. Tea.co.uk say that the perfect temperature for black tea is between 90 to 98°C and for green tea it’s always around 80°C, so you really can make the perfect cuppa with InSinkErator.

Safety is a priority for us too

All of our instant hot water taps are protected by a locking safety lever. The lever that controls the steaming hot water needs to be pushed down and pulled towards you. There is also a spring back feature that immediately shuts off the hot water when the lever is released, so there's no chance of steaming hot water running unattended.

Unlike many cheap alternatives, our instant hot water taps have a fully insulated spout that is safe to touch even as steaming hot water is flowing through it.

All of this combines together to provide peace of mind for children or more vulnerable members of the family.

What is the temperature of the water that is coming out of the instant steaming hot water kitchen tap? Is it boiling?

With the help of the tank that sits neatly under your sink, you can adjust the desired water temperature. Our premium NeoTank heats up to 99°C and the Standard Edition tank heats up to 98°C. The water that comes out of the faucet is slightly below that, roughly -1 °C from the tank temperature as water generally loses temperature the second it stops being heated.

How many years does a kitchen hot water tap last? Do I need to change the tap after a while?

Depends very much on the model but for the 3N1 kitchen steaming hot water tap and for the 4N1 kitchen steaming hot water tap you have a 5 year tap parts and labour limited warranty.

Do I need the 3N1 kitchen hot water tap or the 4N1 kitchen Hot Water tap?

While both models 3N1 and 4N1 kitchen steaming hot water tap offer both regular hot and cold water and a boiling tank temperature water, the 4N1 kitchen steaming hot water tap comes with an extra feature. That feature represents filtered cold water that replaces the need for bottled still water. It is beneficial both for the environment as it reduces the use of plastic and along with the boiling water feature makes it the perfect tool for drinks all seasons long.

What does my 4N1 kitchen hot water tap require in terms of space and other accessories?

Our premium range of 4N1 kitchen steaming hot water taps come with the tank and the first filter included. The water tank that boils water will need to fill under your sink cabinet and you will also need an outlet to plug in the tank.
